A pandemic is a disease that is prevalent throughout the whole world. An epidemic is a spread over a state or a country. A pandemic or an epidemic takes away your health and can change how you live for a short while. In some cases, there can be an extended period or in many cases, it takes away your entire life. However today we are talking about a spiritual pandemic.
Spiritual Pandemic
In today’s world, we are truly in a spiritual pandemic. Social media in all forms keep us informed of what is going on in the world—the good and the bad. That is why I am so happy to be added to the Church Of Christ!
We learn from social media that some leaders in some churches are not teaching Bible doctrine. We are learning that more and more people are not going to church to hear the true word of God. Some churchgoers do not fully believe in the bible, nor do they believe that there is a God. And this kind of thinking can be contagious.
What’s Going on in the world?
There are too many of us who like what is going on in the world better than what God has left down here, in writing for us to live by. These instructions that God left can prevent a Spiritual Pandemic before it gets started. We ask ourselves, “What is wrong with our children?” Well, PTAP (Parenting Administrating, Teaching, and Politicking) is what is wrong with our children. Parenting has traded in their children for a job, a pet, or another person!
Teachers cannot teach because their hands are tied or they are there for a check. Administrators who want high test scores rather than an educated child lead to a successful future! We recognized that we are in a spiritual pandemic when the government took prayer out of schools, the Ten Commandments were removed from government buildings, and laws are passed to allow teachers to come to work strapped, this is another word for carrying a loaded gun! When no one has to have a permit to carry a loaded gun, and when marijuana became legalized.
Can You Hear Me Now?
When some people surrender to God and backslide that is a calamity, because the message that person put out is contagious, and when it catches on, it becomes an epidemic and an epidemic usually snowballs into a pandemic, in an environment that is declining spiritually. The bad news spreads by word of mouth. And the behavior that fuels the spread is the fact that so many people do not want the good that God has, nor do they believe that He has it! The sad part about it is that this is the mindset of a large part of this world.
Without God, we depend on manmade directions from the symptoms of a spiritual pandemic, consequently, a worldwide pandemic! Just like we will not stay away from each other to keep from catching the diseases of the world, we do just what we want to, instead of following the directives given by the doctors and/or the scientific stats. We follow the crowd who has no knowledge of the facts. World, we know when eighteen-year-olds can legally buy alcohol, and a seventeen-year-old has a legal driver’s license. Let’s see where this is going.
Is there spiritual guidance at home?
In many instances, we do not insist that our teenage children attend church. And with very little spiritual guidance an eighteen-year-old is given a loaded gun, allowed to drive a car, go and buy alcohol/marijuana and the speed limit is 70 miles an hour. Then he goes on to hook up with 20 or 30 of his friends ranging in age from 16 to 25. Can you hear me now?
What Guns Do To Our Children
There is no wonder that the news stats tell us that there were 2,600 gunshot victims brought into the Grady Hospital Trauma Center from January to August of 2022. This is what was reported by one hospital in the city of Atlanta alone.
More than 600 children under seventeen years old were killed or hurt by gunfire. In the United States over the last five years 18,316 children died who were under the age of 17 and the count goes as high as 35,931 overall!
Because the struggle is real!
Isaiah 9:6 tells us who our savior is, “for unto us a child is born, unto us a child is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulders: And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, Jesus Christ Our Lord And Savior!”
As a human race we must start with our newborn babies; a child is born with a clean slate. And it is up to his or her parents to develop a God-fearing, strong, smart, respectful, innovative, ambitious child.
Start with the Word of God
Start with the word of god for a strong foundation and a preventive method!
World, it is much easier to train a child than to change a man!
Training a boy is a preventive method to a down-spiraling parenting dilemma
pandemic!
Change a man!

We DUG our way into this dilemma, with manmade parenting rules, but we must turn back to our first love to lead us out! God sent His son they called Him Jesus, who died on the cross for us, consequently He is a perpetuation, for righteous living.
I am the author of the book The Truth About Parenting, a step-by-step guide to proven principles for parenting from the book of Proverbs in the Holy Bible. I placed emphasis on these proven principles because of the deficiency in our parenting skills, which is causing us to fail our children
The only way this world will ever change is through the practice of proven parenting principles.
Consequently, curing this world of this Down-Spiraling Parenting Dilemma, Pandemic!
