All Hands On Deck Community Panels
Gray says, “The Time is Right.” She explains, “My initial goals was to schedule a few book signing at local libraries and churches to promote parenting. But then I kept seeing the daily news and each day I saw another murder. As I continued watching the reports, is dreadfully painful seeing how frequently we are losing our children in the street every day to violence, synthetic drugs and just plain foolishness, moving further away from proven solutions present in the principles of Proverbs.” We turn book signings into community discussions about what everyone can do to stop the violence.
Community leaders as guest panelists have been Judges, Policemen, Ministers, Principals, Teachers, a Deputy Sheriff, Interim Supervisor of Accountability Courts Juvenile Court, a Veteran Administrator, Community Organizers Chair Person, Mental Health Clinicians and Parents. Each of these events were well received. Reaching out to extend the horizon, we are in the process of establishing parenting classes in churches, colleges and any other entity that is serving young adults and children.
We must begin at twelve years of age until of forty, teaching our children and young adults how to prepare themselves to become parents, when to become parents, and proper parenting skills.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
