Methods for Raising Middle School Children
Children at any age need close supervision. Present-day statistics project the fact that this age group is at a stage where children are most confused. They possess more information than they need or want, and they do not have the wherewithal to process it. They are too old to be babies and too young to be adults, so, they depend on each other for information.
How can the school educate children who cannot hear you?
Somewhere in their little life, they have been told they don’t have to listen to what adults have to say! So, the world leaves it to this age group to figure it out all by themselves!
They can read, and most of them can comprehend age-appropriate information. When they have not had proper parenting, they are then thrown into some type of program or medicated. None of the programs, counselors, medicines, and philosophes are going to help our children until we decide to use the principles in Proverbs to rear our children!
If the methods we are currently using could save our children, we would not be in the down-spiraling dilemma that we are experiencing today!
Some of us will ask what methods? Well, I am glad you asked! The world has left their first LOVE, JESUS. He has been taken out of our schools, our homes, and our lives. We are nothing without HIM! He is the reason we can have children.
Our self-style parenting has gotten us into a dark place!
- Babies having babies (starting at this age)
- Disobedient children
- Poor educational system
- A growing community of homelessness
- Millions of unwanted children (in the system being killed on a daily basis)
- Our modern-day children have not been taught morals, respect, and values
- They do not know what LOVE is!
We have tried it our way, and we failed. Now we need The Truth About Parenting!
Statistics:
The most dangerous age is fourteen. If you know any teenagers this might not come as a surprise, but research has confirmed that risk taking peaks during this exact moment in mid-adolescence. (New York Post article dated 2018/06/02) https://nypost.com
Teen suicide, drugs, and violence: 20% of adolescents live with a mental health condition. 50% of all mental illness begins by age 14 and 75% begins by age 24. (https://verywellmind.com)
